Dental Prosthetics

We provide a wide range of dental services for patients with missing teeth, including cases of complete edentulism. Depending on the condition of the oral cavity, the number of missing teeth, as well as the patient’s expectations and budget, we select the optimal method of dental restoration. We are equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment-planning tools for prosthetic care, which streamlines procedures and reduces the time spent in the clinic.

Why should missing teeth be replaced?

Teeth can be lost for various reasons, but regardless of the cause—whether due to mechanical damage or tooth decay—gaps should be restored as soon as possible. Partial or complete tooth loss affects the aesthetics of the smile, makes eating and speaking more difficult, and may cause neighboring teeth to shift or loosen, potentially leading to bite problems.

Minor damage can be restored with composite materials, while more severe cases (for example, after root canal treatment) may require post-and-core restorations. For defects within the crown area, inlays are used, and for larger restorations—onlays.
In summary, if a natural tooth root is preserved, the tooth can usually be rebuilt. If the root is missing, we offer prosthetic solutions that restore proper function of the chewing system.

Types of prosthetic restorations

Restorations provided in our prosthetic laboratory can be divided into fixed and removable solutions.

Removable restorations – partial and full dentures that can be taken out of the mouth, for example for cleaning. The main types include acrylic dentures, metal framework (skeletal) dentures, and flexible dentures.

Fixed restorations – dental crowns, dental bridges, implant-supported prosthetic restorations, and porcelain veneers.

Dental Prosthetics – Benefits

The prosthetic restorations we offer in our clinic enhance the aesthetics of the smile and, as a result, the overall appearance of the face. Placing a dental crown or bridge within the dental arch helps patients regain confidence. They look better, can speak freely (without a lisp), and are able to eat comfortably.

Prosthetic restorations at the Parodent clinic

Dental prosthetics is a field that enables full restoration of the dentition. Depending on the individual case, this may involve a prosthetic crown supported by an implant, a bridge, or a denture fixed on several screws. Patients may also choose a removable solution, such as a skeletal (framework) denture. The decision is made together with the dentist, who assesses the patient’s natural conditions and the overall health of the oral cavity.
